...Then there is the terminal boat noodler. These fearless souls won't stop at simple (boat) modifications. Instead, they'll dream of finishing off a bare hull; of building their own Vivacious Viking from scratch; or even of designing their next vessel - every nut and bold of her. Such dreams call for some mighty noodling indeed - weeks, months, even years spend in the planning stages alone. This is a full-blown benign madness; hours of hard work that somehow wind up unalloyed satisfaction.
