Under the front and back seats are two foamed and fully laminated floats
(about 90 liters in volume in total), well enough to float two people
in the boat when fully flooded (see also next). Seats are made of 18mm
marine plywood (gaboon - Robbins
Elite) varnished with Epifanes-gloss
marine varnish. Each of the three seats are fixed to the dinghy by four
stainless screws – there are also four indented washers glued to
the plywood and all threads on the boat are lined with helicoil
inserts for extra- durability. A pair of welded in brackets for one pair
of oars for rowing from the middle position (k).
