Ladislav's perfectionism and my fussiness - at the end, we could as well made a Buggatti. The plate took the idea of being and stay rounded for its own, and in many instances, all what was needed was a hand pressure to close the plate on the frames to spot weld it in place.

Fig. 4.1.7 Traditionally most compound curve at the middle part of the boat, the plate just sits on the frames, mostly within few millimeters away.

 

Fig. 4.1.2 (again) This plate is five meters long and about 80kg heavy. It took one perfectionist and one fussy one about three days to roll. The plate is free lying on the frames.
