Fig. 1.3 a, b, c, d. Four tons of lead - looks like one, feels like ten (a). Lead cutting was done with horizontal jig saw, model 1940 (spot the green something in (a)). All 300+ cuts were done with a single blade - luckily no problem encountered here (b). Lead boiling pot (c) and first layer of lead in one of five keel compartments (d)
